REPRESENTASI MITOLOGI DALAM “FILM KKN DI DESA PENARI” (Analisis Semiotika Roland Barthes dalam Film “KKN Di Desa Penari”)

The rapid development of mass media has increasingly made mass media a part of daily life needs. Film or movie is a kind of artificial art that contain messages, constructed in an audiovisual structure, and have the fluent to influence the audience. This research contains the representation of mythology in the film "KKN Di Desa Penari", therefore the theory used as the basis for this research is the theory of Roland Barthes called the theory of semiotic analysis. This research uses a qualitative approach to find out how the mythology is represented in the film "KKN Di Desa Penari". The data collection techniques used in this research are documentation and literature study. The data validity technique used in this research is extending observations, increasing persistence and data triangulation. The results of this research explain that in several scenes in the film denotations, connotations and myths containing mythological elements were found.
