PENGARUH PENDIDIKAN KESEHATAN DENGAN MEDIA INDEX CARD MATCH TERHADAP PENGETAHUAN DAN SIKAP REMAJA TENTANG KEHAMILAN USIA DINI
Early pregnancy is a pregnancy condition that occurs at an age under 20 years. Early pregnancy can cause various complications for the mother and baby including anemia, labor bleeding, low birth weight, fetal growth and development disorders, and premature birth. The level of knowledge and attitude are factors that contribute to early pregnancy. One of the interesting media that can be used to increase knowledge in adolescents is the index card match. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of health education with index card match media on adolescents' knowledge and attitudes about early pregnancy. The design of this study was a pre-experiment with the one group pre-test post-test method. The sample in this study was teenage girls with aged 14-16 years old were 40 respondents who were obtained using stratified random sampling techniques. In the knowledge variable used the marginal homogeneity test and the attitude variable used the me nemar test. The questionnaires were 20 statements to measure the level of knowledge and 15 statements to measure the attitudes of respondents that had been tested valid and reliable. The results of the study obtained a p value 0.000 ≤0.05) on the knowledge and attitude variables. This value means that there was an influence of health education using index card match media on adolescents' knowledge and attitudes about early pregnancy. Index card match media can increase adolescent interest in receiving information that influences increasing knowledge and changing adolescent attitudes. The implications of the study are expected to be able to develop index card match media in helping to improve adolescents' knowledge and attitudes to prevent early pregnancy.
