HUBUNGAN DUKUNGAN KELUARGA DENGAN KUALITAS HIDUP PADA PASIEN KANKER PAYUDARA YANG MENJALANI KEMOTERAPI

Keganasan pada kanker payudara bermula dari sel kelenjar dan saluran kelenjar di payudara dan karena terganggunya sistem pertumbuhan sel di dalam jaringan payudara. Ada beberapa jenis pengobatan pasien kanker payudara salah satunya kemoterapi. Pengobatan kemoterapi yang berlangsung lama dapat mempengaruhi kesehatan pasien dalam menghadapi masalah psikososial dan masalah fisik selama kemoterapi seperti kelelahan dan lain-lain berhubungan dengan kualitas hidup pasien diperlukannya dukungan dari keluarga berupa ucapan simpati, penghormatan, kehadiran dapat memberikan ketenangan bagi pasien dalam menghadapi situasi tidak menyenangkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan dukungan keluarga dengan kualitas hidup pada pasien kanker payudara yang menjalani kemoterapi. Desain yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah korelasional dengan pendekatan Cross Sectional. Jumlah sampel 42 responden dengan menggunakan teknik total sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuisioner kemudian di uji dengan analisis Spearman Rank Correlation. Hasil penelitian pada karakteristik responden dengan pendidikan rendah sebanyak 22 orang (52,4%), yang memiliki pendapatan baik sebanyak 20 orang (47,6%), dan berada pada stadium 2 sebanyak 19 orang (45,2%). Hasil penelitian yang mendapatkan dukungan keluarga baik sebanyak 41 orang (97,6%). Hasil penelitian yang mempunyai kualitas hidup baik sebanyak 39 orang (92,9%). Analisis korelasi menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara dukungan keluarga dengan kualitas hidup pasien kanker payudara yang menjalani kemoterapi, dengan nilai p-value = 0.000. Nilai correlation coefficient = 0.563. Sedangkan kriteria arah hubungannya bernilai positif karena kedua variabel searah. Dukungan sosial, terutama dari keluarga, memiliki peran penting dalam meningkatkan kualitas hidup pasien kanker. Support from the family is needed in the form of sympathy, respect, presence can provide peace for patients in dealing with unpleasant situations. This study aims to determine the relationship between family support and quality of life in breast cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy. The design used in the study was correlational with a Cross Sectional approach. The number of samples were 42 respondents using the total sampling technique. Data collection used a questionnaire and then tested with Spearman Rank Correlation analysis. The results of the study on the characteristics of respondents with low education were 22 people (52.4%), who had a good income were 20 people (47.6%), and were in stage 2 were 19 people (45.2%). The results of the study who received good family support were 41 people (97.6%). The results of the study who had a good quality of life were 39 people (92.9%). Correlation analysis showed that there was a significant relationship between family support and the quality of life of breast cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy, with a p-value = 0.000. Correlation coefficient value = 0.563. While the criteria for the direction of the relationship was positive value because the two variables were in the same direction.
