ANALISIS PROFIL KOMPETENSI MULTIKULTURAL SISWA SMA NEGERI 3 PALEMBANG UNTUK KEGIATAN LAYANAN DASAR
Basic services are services provided comprehensively to each individual or student to help them develop abilities and adjustments. Every student is different, in the school environment there are often social gaps between students and each other, therefore multicultural education is really needed for basic services in order to minimize the occurrence of social gaps resulting from differences in each existing culture. This research aims to determine the multicultural competency profile of Palembang State Senior High School 3 students. This research uses a quantitative approach with descriptive methods. Sampling was carried out using a random sampling technique with a saturated sampling technique or total sampling, meaning the sampling method is random or random so that the entire population is assumed to have the same opportunity to become a research sample. The data collection instrument was carried out using a Likert scale regarding academic resilience which consists of 3 aspects and has 28 statement items. The results of this research are that State Senior High School 3 Palembang has a student multicultural competency profile that tends to be at the "medium" criteria level with a frequency of 93 and a percentage of 38.11. This is supported by a balanced contribution at the "medium" criteria level between male students with a percentage of 33.04 and female students with a percentage of 42.6, in achieving this level of competency. The research results show that there is good cultural awareness among students, although there is still room for improvement, especially in cultural knowledge.
