HUBUNGAN EFIKASI DIRI DENGAN MOTIVASI BERPRESTASI PADA SISWA SMA BUKIT ASAM DAN SMA NEGERI 1 DI TANJUNG ENIM

This study aims to determine the relationship between self-efficacy and achievement motivation conducted at SMA Bukit Asam and SMAN 1 in Tanjung Enim using a quantitative approach of correlational type. The population in this study amounted to 670 in Bukit Asam High School and 681 for the total populatio n at SMA Negeri 1 Tanjung Enim. The sample used in the study was 502 students. The data collection technique used a questionnaire. The results of data analysis show the correlation coefficient (rcount) rxy = 0.881 with an rtable value of 0.089, which means that rcount> rtable (0.881> 0.089) which means that there is a significant positive relationship between Self-Efficacy and Achieveme nt Motivation in students, the higher the self-efficacy, the higher the achieveme nt motivation of students, meaning that the higher the self-efficacy, the higher the achievement motivation of students.
