MEKANISASI PERTANIAN PENGOLAHAN TANAH SAWAH RAWA LEBAK DI DESA BENAWA KECAMATAN TELUK GELAM KABUPATEN OGAN KOMERING ILIR
This research aims to design the application of agricultural mechanization in accordance with the needs of agricultural tools and machinery in optimizing wetland rice fields in Benawa Village, Teluk Gelam District, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency. This research was conducted in April 2024 until completion using descriptive methods. The parameters used in this study are the shape of the rice field, the depth of mud, weeds in the field, the operator (skill), the age of the engine used, fuel consumption, aspects of maintaining a 2-wheeled tractor, the performance of all 2-wheeled tractors, and how to pull a 2-wheeled tractor on foot or use a float. From the availability of 2-wheeled tractors in Benawa Village, Teluk Gelam Subdistrict, Ogan Komering Ilir, there are only 2 tractor units that are unable to serve a land area of 300 ha. Land processing in this village is also carried out in 2 stages of the first tillage and second tillage with a depth of 15-20 cm. the performance of all 2-wheeled tractors in this village that are used is still quite normal with an effective working capacity of 0.1 ha / hour. For the availability of tools in this village is still quite lacking so it is necessary to add agricultural tools and machinery because the land area is quite large with minimal tools that can slow down the work of farmers in this village.
