PENGARUH LATIHAN NAIK TURUN BANGKU TERHADAP HASIL LOMPAT JUAH GAYA JONGKOK SISWA EKSTRAKULIKULER SMP NEGERI 1 SUNGAI PINANG
This study aims to determine how much influence bench up and down training has on the results of improving the squat style long jump. The population in this study were students of SMP Negeri 1 Sungai Pinang who participated in athletics exstracurricular activities in the long jump event with a sample of 32 students. This study was conducted using the One Group Pretest and Posttest Experiment method. The instrument used in this study was to measure the results of the long jump. The treatment given was bench up and down training carried out during weekly gymnastics with a training frequency of three times a week. The results of the study obtained the highest pretest value of 2.48m and the lowest value obtained was 1.40m with an average value of 1.78, while the highest posttest value was 2.66m and the lowest value obtained was 1.58m with an average value of 1.94, with a t-test statistic with a significance level of α = 0.05 obtained tcount 11.432> ttable 1.1697, so there is an effect of bench up and down training on improving long jump results. If tcount> ttable then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. The findings in this study are that bench up and down training has an effect on improving long jump results. The implication of this study is that bench up and down training can be used as a form of training to improve long jump results in exstracurricular activities of students at SMP Negeri 1 Sungai Pinang.
