EVALUASI PENYELENGGARAAN PENDIDIKAN POLITIK DALAM MENGHADAPI PEMILIHAN UMUM DI BADAN KESATUAN BANGSA DAN POLITIK PROVINSI SUMATERA SELATAN

This study aims to find out how the National Unity and Political Agency of South Sumatra Province provides political education as one of the facilitators regarding political education for the people of South Sumatra. In this research, the qualitative research type is used. The data collection techniques used in this research are interviews, observations and documentation which are collected and then processed into the main raw material for analyzing empirical conditions and objectivity in the existence of research objectives at the locations studied. The results of this research show that the National Unity and Political Agency of South Sumatra Province plays a good role in carrying out the function of political education for the people of South Sumatra, National Unity and Political Agency of South Sumatra Province has an annual program to carry out political education through seminars, counseling and creating political discussion forums. However, it is hoped that there will be a need for other programs such as placing banners about election awareness, workshops and also expected approaches, especially to lower middle class people, to increase awareness about participating in general elections.
