SPESIASI ION LOGAM CR(III) DAN CR(VI) PADA TANAMAN ECENG GONDOK (EICHHORNIA CRASSIPES) MENGGUNAKAN METODE POTENSIOMETRI SEL KONSENTRASI
Water hyacinth is a bioindicator plant that has high tolerance to metal pollutans concentration of Cr(III) and Cr(VI) metal ions species in Ogan river. Measurement of Cr(III) and Cr(VI) metal ions species has done using the concentration cell potentiometric method. This study aims to validated the method (linearity, precision, accuracy, LoD & LoQ). Applying the concentration cell potentiometric method to measure Cr(III) and Cr(VI) metal ion species in water hyacinth plants in the Ogan river and determining the distribution of Cr(III) and Cr(VI) metal ion species founded in water hyacinth plants at each sampling location. The result showed that the concentration cell potentiometric method was proven to be valid with the Cr(III) and Cr(VI) regression equations respectively y = 8.4768x + 0.3051 and y = 4.1074x + 0.3145, the correlation determination obtained were respectively equal to 0.999 and 0.998. The precision obtained for the metal ions Cr(III) and Cr(VI) was 0.333% and 1.095%. The accuracy obtained for the metal ions Cr(III) and Cr(VI) was 95.33% and 94.38%. The LoD and LoQ values of the method obtained for Cr(III) were respectively 0.5016 mg/L and 0.502 mg/L while the LoD and LoQ of the method for Cr(VI) were obtained respectively 0.482 mg/L and 0.483 mg/L. The highest concentrations of Cr(III) and Cr(VI) metal ions measured from water hyacinth plants parts were highest in the roots. The highest distribution of Cr(III) metal ion contamination is at location Pegayut and the lowest is at location 15 Ulu, while for Cr(VI) metal ion the highest is at location 15 Ulu and the lowest is at location Ulu Laut.
