MANAJEMEN PRODUKSI PROGRAM BERITA HALO PALEMBANG DI PALEMBANG TV PASCA PANDEMI COVID-19

In 2020, Covid-19 entered Indonesia which had a major impact on life including the broadcasting world. Palembang TV (PALTV) is one of those affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, which in this study focused on the news program "Halo Palembang". This study aims to determine the production management of the news program "Halo Palembang" used by PALTV after the COVID-19 pandemic. The main data source for this study is the PALTV television station. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method. Because the number of informants is relatively limited, amounting to five people, the data collection technique used is a combination of in-depth interviews, observation, and document analysis. The results of the study indicate that the production management system of the Halo Palembang program at PALTV has met the basic criteria of a good production management system, but there have been some changes in program management after the pandemic. The Halo Palembang program has shown good implementation of the planning function, this includes the basic stages of the planning process and is consistent with aspects of the Morissan Program Management approach. The organizing function is also effective, although there are some challenges that arise during the production phase. The supervisory function has also been running quite well and effectively, as indicated by the weekly reports and evaluations carried out by each program manager to the General Manager.
