HUBUNGAN KEPERCAYAAN DIRI DAN KEMANDIRIAN BELAJAR SISWA SMP NEGERI 8 PALEMBANG

The purpose of this study was to determine and describe whether there is a correlation between self-confidence and self-regulated learning at SMP Negeri 8 Palembang. This study uses quantitative methods of correlational techniques. This study used data collection techniques in the form of a questionnaire regarding self-confidence and self-regulated learning with a total of 30 statement items each. The preparation of this research questionnaire uses a Likert scale with five measurement options, namely as strongly agree, agree, doubtful, disagree, strongly disagree. Based on the research data, it can be concluded that the self-confidence of students at SMP Negeri 8 Palembang School is in the moderate category, based on calculations obtained at 75%. Meanwhile, the self-regulated learning at SMP Negeri 8 Palembang School is in the moderate category based on the figure obtained of 70%. So it appears that there is a significant correlation between self-confidence and self-regulated learning at SMP Negeri 8 Palembang in the use of a significance level of 0.05 (5%), with a sample size of 78 people. The value of r in the Pruduct Moment table, with a sample of 78 people shows the value of r table = 0,677648, the results obtained are r count (0.759) > r table (0,677648). Based on the results obtained, it can be concluded that Ha is accepted and it can be concluded that the correlation coefficient of self-confidence with self-regulated learning is relevant. This means that there is a relationship between self-confidence and self-regulated learning at SMP Negeri 8 Palembang. Keywords: Self-confidence, Self-regulated learning.
