REVITALISASI DAN PENGEMBANGAN TAMAN KELENGKENG SEBAGAI RUANG TERBUKA HIJAU DI KELURAHAN KEBUN BUNGA KECAMATAN SUKARAMI KOTA PALEMBANG

This study aims to revitalize “Kelengkeng Park” as a Green Open Space in Palembang City and make improvements to the facilities to be a enhance comfort recreational area. The study was conducted in November 2022 to March 2023 located at Jl. Letjen Harun Sohar, Kebun Bunga Subdistrict, Sukarami District, Palembang City, with total area of 4300m2. The research method involved field surveys and interviews with the management, as to follows : 1) Interview, 2) Inventory, 3) Site analysis, 4) Visual landscape assessment, 5) Data analysis and visual landscape evaluation, 6) Concept synthesis, 7) Initial design, 8) Consultation with experts and management, and 9) Final design. The research findings are presented in the form of 2D and 3D design drawings, as well as a 3D animation video, using software such as Sketchup Pro 2021, Autocad 2021, and Lumion 9. Results of the landscape visual quality analysis using the SBE (Scenic Beauty Estimation) method showed that out of a total of 12 landscapes, 5 landscapes (41.7%) are in the high beauty (T) category, 4 landscapes (33.3%) are in the medium beauty (S) category, and 3 landscapes (25%) are in the low beauty (R) category, indicating a lack of visual appeal. Based on the research results, it was concluded that the revitalization of Kelengkeng Park using a sustainable Urban Landscape concept can improve the visual quality of the landscape in the urban area and the park can be well organized to adapt to future changes in urban open space. The design was created using Sketchup, Autocad, and Lumion software. Keywords : Revitalization, green open space, urban landscape.
