SUBSTITUSI PEMBERIAN RANSUM LOKAL DAN RANSUM KOMERSIAL TERHADAP PERSENTASE SALURAN PENCERNAAN AYAM KAMPUNG ULU
This study aims to determine the effect of local feeding on the digestive tract of ULU native chickens. This research was conducted for 10 weeks using 80 ULU native chickens located in the Poultry Experimental Cage of the Animal Husbandry Study Program, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University. This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) with 5 treatments and 4 replicates. The treatments consisted of P0 (100% local feed), P1 (75% local feed + 25% commercial feed), P2 (50% local feed + 50% commercial feed) P3 (25% local feed + 75% commercial feed), P4 (100% commercial feed). The observed variables were the percentage of small intestine weight, duodenum weight, jejenum weight, ileum weight and cecal weight. The results of the analysis of variance showed that the treatment had a significant effect (P 0.05). The conclusion of this study is that the substitution of local rations and commercial rations can increase the percentage of the digestive tract of ULU native chickens on the percentage of small intestine weight, duodenum weight, jejenum weight, and ileum weight.
