ANALISIS PENGARUH GEOMETRI JALAN ANGKUT TERHADAP FUEL CONSUMPTION DUMP TRUCK PX105AT DAN MERCEDES-BENZ AXOR 2528C PADA KEGIATAN COAL HAULING PT BARA SELARAS RESOURCES, KABUPATAN LAHAT SUMATERA SELATAN.
Ideal haul road geometry can support the smooth running of coal hauling activities. Coal hauling activities use hauling equipment in the form of dump trucks which increase the cost of mining activities from the fuel consumption used. PT Bara Selaras Resources uses PX105AT for the East Pit and Mercedes-Benz Axor 2528C for the West Pit. The actual fuel consumption used is greater than what has been planned. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between road geometry and increased fuel consumption. The research was conducted through a literature study and primary data processing was carried out using Minescape 5.7 and Microsoft Excel 2021 software and road geometry evaluation based on AASHTO and KepMen ESDM No. 1827 K/30/MEM/2018. The results of the study using actual geometry resulted in fuel consumption for PX105AT of 41.35 liters/hour and Mercedes-Benz Axor 2528C of 19.42 liters/hour. Analysis of the relationship between Rolling Resistance shows that every 1 inch change in road grade can increase fuel consumption for the West Pit road by 1.10 liters/hour and for the East Pit road by 6.50 liters/hour. And the analysis of the relationship between Grade Resistance shows that every additional 1% grade can increase fuel consumption for the West Pit road by 0.79 liters / hour and for the East Pit road by 4.64 liters / hour. After simulating the ideal road geometry improvement, it can reduce fuel consumption by 4.62 liters/hour for the East Pit and 1.97 liters/hour for the West Pit.
