PERSEPSI MAHASISWA TERHADAP PROSPEK KERJA LULUSAN PROGRAM STUDI PENDIDIKAN TEKNIK MESIN

This study aims to find out how students perceive the job prospects of graduates of the Mechanical Engineering Education Study Program. This study uses a qualitative approach with a data collection technique, namely interviews. The source of data or the object of this study is mechanical engineering education students of Sriwijaya University with a total of five students and one lecturer of Mechanical Engineering Education at Sriwijaya University. The data analysis techniques used in this study are data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification. The results of this study show that there are three job prospects for graduates of the Mechanical Engineering Education Study Program, namely as teachers of Vocational High Schools (SMK), working in the industrial sector, and entrepreneurship.
