ANALISIS BAHAYA SEISMIK BERDASARKAN NILAI PEAK GROUND ACCELERATION (PGA) MENGGUNAKAN METODE PROBABILISTIC DAN DETERMINISTIC
Mukomuko Regency is a west coastal area of Sumatra Island which is vulnerable to earthquakes. So, when planning building construction, must pay attention to the potential for earthquakes. In this study, seismic hazard analysis in Mukomuko Regency was carried out using the PSHA and DSHA methods. Probability calculations using the USGS-PSHA 2007 program for a return period of 500 years, the probability of exceeding is 10% within 50 years of the life of the building under the condition T = 0 seconds. The analysis results show that the maximum value of PGA in bedrock is (0.58 g – 0.64 g). Deterministic calculations using the shakemap modification program by BMKG 2015, the sources of earthquakes are the Siulak fault, Dikit fault, Ketaun fault and Mentawai Pagai fault. The results of DSHA calculations showed that the largest PGA value for the Siulak fault earthquake source was 7.2 Mw (0.17 g – 0.32 g), the Dikit fault earthquake source was 7.1 Mw (0.17 g – 0.53 g), the Ketaun fault earthquake source was 7.3 Mw (0.16 g – 0.56 g) and the source Mentawai Pagai fault earthquake 8.2 Mw (0.58 g – 0.63 g) with the distribution of PGA values forming a trace along the fault plane, the area with the largest PGA value is located at the closest position (site) on the fault plane and the lowest PGA value is at the furthest site distance on the fault plane.
