ANALISIS SINTESIS NANOSILIKA BERBAHAN DASAR FLY ASH MENGGUNAKAN METODE SOL-GEL DENGAN VARIASI TEMPERATUR PEMANASAN.
Nanosilica is a nano-sized silica that ranges from 1-100 nm and has a function to increase the compressive strength of concrete. Quality nanosilica can be produced with a synthesis process from fly ash waste. The materials used in this research are fly ash, HCl solution, NaOH, Methanol, Ammonia, and demin water. The material will be synthesised using the sol-gel method. This research uses variations in burning temperature, which are 75°C, 100°C, and 125°C. This research uses microstructure testing to analyse the synthesis results in the form of X-Ray Diffraction (XRD), X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF), and Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM). From the XRD test results, it can be concluded that the greater the combustion temperature, the smaller the size and the greater the amorphous percentage. From the results of XRF and SEM tests, it is concluded that higher temperatures will produce the most amount of silica. According to tests, the optimum burning temperature for the synthesis process is 125°C, which produces silica purity of about 58% with a crystal size of 19.77 nm, composed of 3.96% crystalline and 96.04% amorphous material
