EMANSIPASI PEREMPUAN PADA FILM KARTINI KARYA HANUNG BRAMANTYO

This research is titled Emancipation of Women in Kartini 2017 Film by Hanung Bramantyo, thesis of Sociology Department, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Sriwijaya University. The purpose of this research is to study and know the emancipation of women in the 2017 Kartini film by Hanung Bramantyo. The research method used by researchers is descriptive qualitative method. The data analysis used in this research is Sara Mils discourse analysis, this research aims to find out the position of the subject-object and analyze the position of the audience/reader. The results of this study indicate that there are 12 scenes of subject position and 7 object positions of women's emancipation in the field of education, politics, and work in the 2017 Kartini film, and the relevance of film structure to social reality through pieces of scenes or scenes and dialog contained in the 2017 Kartini film.
