KONSUMSI ALKOHOL OLEH REMAJA PEREMPUAN DI NIGHT CLUB KOTA PALEMBANG
The title of the research is "Consumption of Alcohol by Adolescent Girls in the City of Palembang." The purpose of this research is to determine the motives of adolescents in consuming alcohol and the impacts that arise after alcohol consumption. This study employs Edwin H Sutherland's Differential Association theory. The research method used is qualitative research with a case study approach. The selection of informants in this study uses purposive sampling technique, and the number of informants is 8 people. The types and sources of data in this study are primary and secondary data obtained through in- depth interviews, observation, and documentation techniques. The results of this study indicate that the motives for adolescent girls to consume alcohol are due to work demands, coping with problems, and adopting a hedonistic lifestyle within their peer group. The impacts of alcohol consumption on adolescent girls are detrimental to their health, leading to addiction effects, and causing excessive spending in their clubbing activities.
