ANALISIS KAWASAN RAWAN BANJIR BERDASARKAN PENGARUH ANTROPOGENIK DENGAN PENDEKATAN SISTEM INFORMASI GEOGRAFIS (STUDI KASUS KOTA PALEMBANG).
Palembang City is one of the major cities in Indonesia facing significant flooding issues. These floods are resulted from a combination of natural and human-induced factors. This study evaluates the extent of the anthropogenic causes of flooding from human activities. The primary anthropogenic factors assessed include land subsidence, population density, road density, solid waste generation, and liquid waste generation. This study aims to determine the weight or scoring of these anthropogenic criteria contributing to flooding by employing the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. All calculated indexes were then mapped for visual assessments to map the flood vulnerability of Palembang City using the Geographic Information System (GIS) weighted overlay method. The results from the AHP calculations indicate that the anthropogenic factors most significantly influencing flooding in Palembang City are as follows; population density, with a weight of 0.275; road density, with a weight of 0.214; land subsidence, with a weight of 0.213; solid waste generation, with a weight of 0.209; and liquid waste generation, with a weight of 0.085. Furthermore, the application of the weighted overlay method reveals five classes of flood vulnerability: not vulnerable (11.6%), less vulnerable (24.6%), quite vulnerable (24.55%), vulnerable (23.31%), and very vulnerable (15.91%).
