KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR TINGKAT TINGGI SISWA MELALUI PBL BERBANTUAN DIGITAL WORKSHEET PADA MATERI TRIGONOMETRI

This studyaims to describe the Higher Order Thinking Skill of high school students in trigonometry through the Problem BasedLearning (PBL) learning model assisted by Digital Worksheet, namely Liveworksheet.This type of research uses a descriptive research method. The subjectsof the study consisted of 37 tenth grade students. Data collection techniqueswere carried out through tests and interviews. The test instruments were compiled based on HOTS indicators, namely analyzing (C4), evaluating (C5), and creating (C6). The datawere analyzed descriptively based on the results of written tests and selectedbased on the categories of very good, good, sufficient, poor, and verypoor. The results showed that the students' HOTS abilities were still in the poor category.In the analyzing indicator (C4), most students were able to identify information and compile solution steps, but they were not consistent in drawing conclusions.In the evaluating indicator (C5), most students were unable to provide critical assessments of the calculation results or relate them to the context of the problem.In the creating indicator (C6), almost all students were unable to create a roof sketch design based on the results of trigonometric calculations.Limitations in mathematical visualization abilities and unfamiliarity with solving non-routine problems were the main factors affecting the students' ability to create designs. In the creating indicator(C6), almost all students were unable to create a sketch design of a house roofbased on the results of trigonometric calculations. Limited mathematical visualization skillsand unfamiliarity with non-routine problems were themain factors contributing to the low C6 achievement. In general, the application of PBL assisted byLiveworksheet helped students understand contextual trigonometry problemstrigonometry, but it has not been able to optimally improve HOTS skills.
