JARINGAN SOSIAL PROSTITUSI PADA SALAH SATU CAFE DI DESA BANGSA NEGARA KECAMATAN BELITANG MADANG RAYA KABUPATEN OKU TIMUR
This research focuses on the practice of prostitution and also the social network of prostitution in Desa Bangsa Negara, Belitang Madang Raya District, East OKU Regency. This research method uses descriptive qualitative research methods with purposive selection of informants. Data collection was done through observation, interviews, and documentation which was then analyzed using network theory from Barnes. The results of this study show that the practice of social networks in Bangsa Negara Village, Belitang Madang Raya District, East OKU Regency which has been going on since 2017 began with a lot of demand from the needs of commercial sex worker service users in the village. Based on having a strong idea, vision, sense of fate, and kinship, commercial sex workers then gather in the same location making it easier for them to find customers, and the recruitment process is arranged by the owner of the localization site, the recruitment of commercial sex workers is carried out through a kinship system, with the majority of workers coming from close social circles, such as friends, neighbors, and relatives. In partial social networks, prostitution social networks are based on the crush and demands of economic needs. This condition has consequences for the formation of prostitution social networks involving many actors in it such as pimps, commercial sex workers, security guards, parking attendants, café cashiers, users of commercial sex worker services, to the community around the location of prostitution practices. Whereas in the context of social networks of interest, social networks of prostitution are formed because they are related to the same work interests.
