ABSTRACT Background: Regional leadership activity scheduling services are one of the public services in Indonesia. The Protocol and Communication Section of the Head of the Regional Secretariat of Ogan Ilir Regency is one of the government agencies that has an important role in scheduling the activities of regional leaders. The government strives for a technological innovation in a good government system. Therefore, the Protocol and Communication section of the Head of the Regional Secretariat of Ogan Ilir Regency created an innovative application to facilitate the management of scheduling activities of regional leaders called the Jadwalinbae application. Method: This study uses qualitative methods. Data obtained through interviews, observations and documentation. Data analysis in this study includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. Results/Findings: The results found by researchers in this study are that there are still several obstacles that are inhibiting factors in the application of scheduleinbae application innovations carried out by the Protocol and Communication Section of the Head of the Regional Secretariat of Ogan Ilir Regency, this is based on several indicators that public service innovation has not been implemented properly. This can be seen from the lack of human resources in managing the application, uneven socialization, and there are still problems with the application. Conclusion: shows that the innovation of the scheduleinbae application in supporting the scheduling services of regional leaders in the Protocol and Communication section of the Head of the Regional Secretariat of Ogan Ilir Regency cannot be said to be good.
