IMPLEMENTASI ALGORITMA RANDOM FOREST UNTUK MENDETEKSI SERANGAN SSL PINNING BYPASS DAN MITM PADA JARINGAN SMARTHOME
The advancement of Internet of Things (IoT) technology has brought significant changes to everyday life, especially through the adoption of smart home devices. The use of smart homes is growing rapidly because it can help make housework easier. However, the increasing use of these devices also increases cyber threats. Some dangerous threats are SSL Pinning Bypass and MITM. In this study, we will discuss the detection of SSL Pinning Bypass and MITM attacks using the Random Forest method with metric evaluation. The research dataset in .pcap format was converted into csv format using the t-shark tool. Detection using the ids-snort tool was carried out to prove there was an attack on the dataset before being processed using random forest. The results of the random forest study showed that the best model was with an accuracy value of Normal 98.55%, MITM 98.15%, SSL 98.15%. The value of the precision of Normal 98%, MITM 97%, SSL 98%. The value of the Recall of Normal 98%, MITM 97%, SSL 98%. The value of f1_score Normal 98%, MITM 93%, and SSL 98%.
