GASTRODIPLOMASI INDONESIA DI AMERIKA SERIKAT KHUSUSNYA MELALUI SUMMER FANCY FOOD SHOW TAHUN 2022
This research explores Indonesia's gastrodiplomacy effort in the United State through the Summer Fancy Food Show. Gastrodiplomacy employs food as a medium for cultural exchange, enhancing international trade and cultural ties. This study focuses on two key dimensions: marketing strategies and event organization and collaborations with foreign organizations. Using qualitative methods such as documentations and interviews, this research delves into the strategies employed by Indonesia to promote its cuisine at this international event. This research scrutinizez the role of govermental bodies like ITPC Los Angeles and ITPC Chicago ini enhancing Indonesia's culinary image in the United States. The research also aims to evaluate the effectiveness of these strategies and the challenges faced by Indonesia in establishing a strong culinary brand in the U.S compared to other Southeast Asian nations. Also suceeded in finding conclusions which show that Summer Fancy Food Show is an effective medium for Indonesia to implement gastrodiplomacy in U.S well and effectively. This research it contributes to a deeper understanding of the role of food in cultural diplomacy and international relations
