DIALEKTIKA RELASIONAL ANTARA GURU DAN MURID AUTIS (STUDI PADA SEKOLAH ANAK BERKEBUTUHAN KHUSUS YAYASAN BINA AUTIS MANDIRI DI KOTA PALEMBANG)
This study aims to determine the relational dialectic process that occurs between teachers and autism students at Yayasan Bina Autis Mandiri Palembang. Data were obtained from observations, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies using qualitative methods. Communication difficulties experienced by children with autism will affect the development of interpersonal relationships with others. This research uses Relational Dialectics Theory (RDT) which has four core elements of dialectics. The result of the study began with the teacher's efforts in making an approach that would cause dependence on students (totality). Various kinds of interpersonal relationship conflicts (contradictions). Consistency of teacher direction who successfully does some small activities for students (motion). Finally, the teacher's patience to reduce student dependence (praxis). The efforts made show the development of positive relationships. Students with autism show a sympathetic attitude towards teachers. Vice versa, teachers can better understand in building effective communication with autism students.
