This research is motivated by several obstacles in the management of state property in the category of movable goods, namely the lack of awareness of human resources of the importance of storing state property, obstacles in participating in training via zoom and a high sense of ownership of borrowed goods, and limited manpower. Therefore, the need for this research aims to analyze and focus attention on aspects of the management of state property in the category of movable goods contained in the BPMP of South Sumatra Province. This research uses a qualitative approach that is descriptive in nature. This approach can see phenomena that exist in the field naturally, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The theory used in this research is Mardiasmo's theory which emphasizes the principles of managing state property, namely proper planning, implementation, and supervision and control. Based on the results of the research that has been conducted, it shows that the management of public assets in the category of movable state property in the BPMP of South Sumatra Province has been running quite optimally. This research is expected to optimize the management of state property by recruiting human resources who have expertise and specialization, increasing education and communication of state property users, providing incentives or awards to employees, and conducting interactive and appropriate training and socialization duration.
