ANALISIS FRAMING PEMBERITAAN KASUS KEKERASAN PENGANIAYAAN MARIO DANDY DI MEDIA ONLINE KOMPAS.COM

Persecutory violence is an intentional action or behavior that harms another person physically, emotionally or psychologically. This includes any form of violence or assault that causes injury or suffering to the victim. Incidents related to abuse cases are a crucial and interesting issue to present. This research aims to find out how the framing is carried out by Kompas.com media in reporting cases of abuse. This research uses framing analysis by Zhongdang Pan and Gerald M. Kosicki, using a qualitative descriptive method with data sources in the form of 14 news cases of abuse committed by Mario Dandy. The results of the research show that Kompas.com media presents information about the abuse committed by Mario Dandy based on facts and thoroughly investigates the case. Then the media Kompas.com has a tendency to report on the side of the victim. Apart from that, Kompas.com displays information not only from one point of view, but also from other points of view in order to obtain depth of information.
