PENGARUH ADVERSITY QUOTIENT (AQ) TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR PESERTA DIDIK PADA MATA PELAJARAN EKONOMI KELAS XI SMA NEGERI 12 PALEMBANG
In learning, students face challenges that affect learning outcomes. Adversity quotient helps them overcome difficulties; high AQ supports learning achievement, while low AQ can hinder it, especially in Economics. This study aims to determine the effect of adversity quotient on student learning outcomes in Economics at SMA Negeri 12 Palembang. This study uses a quantitative method with a causal associative approach. The study population was all grade XI students of SMA Negeri 12 Palembang in the even semester of the 2024/2025 academic year studying Economics. The study sample consisted of grades XI.1, XI.2, and XI.6 with a total of 83 students selected through a simple random sampling technique. Data analysis techniques were carried out using a questionnaire instrument to measure adversity quotient and a test instrument to measure learning outcomes. The results of the hypothesis test using linear regression showed that the calculated t value of 3.2718 was greater than the t table of 0.0972, so H₀ was rejected and Hₐ was accepted. Thus, there is a significant influence between adversity quotient and student learning outcomes. This finding demonstrates the importance of developing adversity quotient in the learning process to improve student learning outcomes.
