Background: Pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) patients are in critical condition, requiring a clear understanding of admission indications, treatment priorities, and patient outcomes. Mapping these profiles is important to describe case patterns in the PICU at Dr. Mohammad Hoesin General Hospital in Palembang and to serve as a basis for evaluating and improving service quality. Objective: To determine the profile of pediatric intensive care unit patients based on indications, priorities, and outcomes at Dr. Mohammad Hoesin General Hospital in Palembang. Almost all patients used BPJS as their source of financing (97.5%), with the majority of referrals coming from the emergency department (44.5%). Postoperative care was the most common indication for admission to the PICU (30.1%), with the highest organ involvement in the nervous system (37.5%). Based on urgency level, the majority of patients were classified as priority 2 (45.9%). The length of stay generally ranged from 2 to 7 days (74.4%).
