KEMAMPUAN PEMECAHAN MASALAH SISWA DENGAN PENDEKATAN REALISTIC MATHEMATICS EDUCATION BERBANTUAN LKPD DIGITAL
Students' mathematical problem-solving abilities are still relatively low, due to a one-way learning process in which students only receive material, examples, and practice questions without being given the opportunity to develop their understanding and problem-solving strategies independently. One learning approach that can overcome this problem is Realistic Mathematics Education (RME), which is supported by the use of digital worksheets. Therefore, this study aims to describe students' mathematical problem-solving abilities after the application of the RME approach supported by digital worksheets on PLSV material. This study uses a descriptive approach with 37 students in class VII.4 at SMP Negeri 1 Palembang as the research subjects. The research instruments used include problem-solving ability tests and interviews. Overall, the results showed that the indicator of understanding the problem had the highest percentage, namely 87.39%. In addition, the solution planning indicator reached 59.68%, the solution implementation indicator was 60.81%, and the result review indicator had the lowest percentage, namely 10.36%. This shows that students tend to be able to understand the problems given, but still experience difficulties in the reflection or solution evaluation stage.
