PENGARUH PENDIDIKAN KESEHATAN MENGGUNAKAN PEMA (PERMAINAN EDUKATIF MONOPOLI ANEMIA) TERHADAP PENGETAHUAN TENTANG ANEMIA PADA REMAJA PUTRI.
Anemia is a condition where are hemoglobin level in the blood is below normal. Adolescent girls are a group at greater risk of experiencing anemia than adolescent boys due to lack of iron intake, menstruation and lack of knowledge about the definition, signs and symptoms, causative factors, impacts, prevention and checkup of anemia. Providing health education through AMEG media is one way to increase knowledge of anemia in adolescent girls. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of health education using AMEG (Anemia Monopoly Educational Game) on knowledge about anemia in adolescent girls. This study was a quantitative study with a pre-experimental one group pre-test and post-test design. The number of samples in this study were 34 female students with characteristics of being grade X-XI female students of SMA Negeri 1 Tanjung Lubuk in 2023/2024 academic year, who were selected using the probability sampling method with cluster sampling and individual sampling used sample random sampling. The results of data analysis used the paired simple t-test showed that there was a significant effect on the knowledge of adolescents girls at SMA Negeri 1 Tanjung Lubuk before and after being given AMEG health education with an average pre-test knowledge value was 12.79 and a post-test was 16.74 as evidenced by a p value of 0.000 < 0.05. AMEG as one of the learning media in this study is an alternative material for conducting health education for adolescents girls in increasing knowledge about anemia.
