UPAYA PEMERINTAH TURKI DALAM MENGATASI PENGUNGSI DARI SURIAH TAHUN 2019-2020

The conflict in Syria has threatened the security of its people. This makes them flee to Turkey as a country that is considered safe for refugees and Turkey has also signed the 1951 Convention 1967 Protocol and Open Door Policy. Turkey has always tried to do its role in helping Syrian refugees from year to year even though in 2019-2020 the Turkish economy was unstable but Turkey always gave its best efforts in helping Syrian refugees. The purpose of this study is to analyze the Turkish government's efforts to overcome refugees from Syria in 2019-2020. The theoretical framework used in this thesis is the effectiveness of international regimes. This research is conducted through literature study. This thesis uses a qualitative method using secondary data. The secondary data is obtained from books, journals and official websites. From the results of the analysis using the theory of international regime effectiveness with the dimensions of Output, Outcome and Impact through the theory of international regime effectiveness, it can be concluded that Turkey has implemented the Open Door policy through the facilities provided by Turkey, namely shelter, education, socio-economic facilities and health services.
