KEMAMPUAN NUMERASI PADA KONTEN ALJABAR MELALUI KONTEKS KEARIFAN LOKAL PALEMBANG PADA SISWA KELAS VII
This study aims to describe numeracy skills in algebra content through the context of Palembang local wisdom in seventh grade students. The research method used is a descriptive approach with qualitative and quantitative data processing. The subjects of this study were 29 seventh grade D students at SMP Negeri 2 Indralaya Selatan in the 2025/2026 academic year. The data collection techniques used in this study were observation, written tests, and interviews. Based on the results of the analysis and discussion of the numeracy indicators, it was found that 93.10% of students were able to analyze information in various forms (graphs, tables, charts, diagrams, etc.). Furthermore, 83,91% of students were able to use basic mathematical numbers and symbols to solve problems in various real-life situations. Meanwhile, 67,82% of students were able to interpret the results to make appropriate decisions or conclusions. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that students in class VII D of SMP Negeri 2 Indralaya Selatan have moderate numeracy skills with a class average of 72,54 when completing numeracy test questions on algebra content through the context of Palembang local wisdom.
