PENGARUH PENDEKATAN DEEP LEARNING TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN PEMECAHAN MASALAH MATEMATIKA MATERI BARISAN DAN DERET SISWA SMA
This study aims to determine students' ability to solve mathematical problems through a Deep learning approach to Series and Sequences material. Students' low ability to solve mathematical problems requires deep reasoning, especially on the topic of series and sequences, so a learning approach is needed that can encourage students to actively engage in understanding concepts in a meaningful way. The research subjects were 31 students from class X.E.9 at SMA Negeri 18 Palembang. This research was descriptive quantitative, consisting of three stages: preparation, implementation, and data analysis. The data obtained were analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. The data collection technique was carried out through tests, namely pre-tests and post-tests in the same class. The planned data analysis included the Shapiro-Wilk normality test and hypothesis testing using the t-test or Wilcoxon non-parametric test in accordance with the results of the statistical assumption test. The results showed that there was an effect of the deep learning approach, as indicated by the post-test average score of 71.57, which was higher than the pre-test average score of 25.13.
