HUBUNGAN FAKTOR SANITASI RUMAH TANGGA DENGAN KEJADIAN DIARE PADA BALITA DI WILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS TALANG PANGERAN KECAMATAN PEMULUTAN BARAT
Diarrhea is an environment-related disease and remains a health problem in Indonesia, especially in toddlers caused by poor household sanitation. The purpose of this study was to analyze the Relationship of Household Sanitation Factors with the Incidence of Diarrhea in Toddlers in the Work Area of Talang Pangeran Health Center, West Pemulutan District. This research is a quantitative study using a cross-sectional research design by selecting 146 toddlers aged 6-59 months as samples through random sampling technique. Data collection was carried out through questionnaire sheets by interview and observation sheets using a checklist. Data analysis techniques used univariate analysis, bivariate (chi-square test), and multivariate (multiple logistic regression with predictive model). The results of univariate analysis showed that toddlers who experienced diarrhea were 77 respondents (52.7%). The results of bivariate analysis showed a relationship between toddler age (p-value 0.000), gender (p-value 0.000), clean water physical condition (p-value 0.000), latrine condition (p-value 0.000), and floor type condition (p-value 0.000) with the incidence of diarrhea in toddlers in the work area of Talang Pangeran Health Center, West Pemulutan District. Meanwhile, the variable of trash place condition (p-value = 0.362) showed no relationship with the incidence of diarrhea in toddlers in the work area of Talang Pangeran Health Center, West Pemulutan District. The results of multivariate analysis showed that the variable of clean water physical condition was the most dominant factor with the incidence of diarrhea in toddlers, with a p-value of 0.000 (
