EVALUASI PERTUMBUHAN DAN PRODUKTIVITAS TANAMAN PADI (Oryza sativa L.) AKSESI T2 DAN TR2 BC2F5 PADA LAHAN RAWA LEBAK DANGKAL DI DESA PELABUHAN DALAM, KABUPATEN OGAN ILIR, SUMATERA SELATAN

Rice (Oryza sativa L.) is a major food crop in Indonesia, and optimizing rice production is essential to meet national food needs. Shallow swamp land has the potential for rice cultivation but faces the constraint of fluctuating water regimes, which cause waterlogging stress during the vegetative phase and drought stress during the generative phase. This study aims to evaluate the growth and productivity of rice accessions T2 and TR2 from the crossbreeding of Inpago 5 and Inpara 8 with commercial varieties as controls on shallow swamp land in Pelabuhan Dalam Village, Pemulutan, Ogan Ilir, South Sumatra. The study was conducted from May to August 2025 using a randomized block design. The results showed that the treatment had a significant effect on the parameters of tiller number and 100 grain weight, and a very significant effect on plant height at 8 weeks after planting, flowering age, panicle length, grains per panicle, percentage of empty grains, grain length, grain width, and harvest index. Accessions TR2 showed superiority in plant height (118.87cm), panicle length (34.48cm), grain width (2,86mm) and number of grains per panicle (169.82). Despite having a lower harvest index, accessions T2 and TR2 showed estimated production equivalent to the control genotipe 5 with 6.83 and 7.17tons/ha respectively. Keywords: rice accessions, T2, TR2, shallow peatland, productivity Padi (Oryza sativa L.) merupakan tanaman pangan utama di Indonesia, dan optimalisasi produksi padi sangat diperlukan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan pangan nasional. Lahan rawa lebak dangkal memiliki potensi untuk budidaya padi namun menghadapi kendala rejim air yang fluktuatif yang menyebabkan cekaman terendam pada fase vegetatif dan cekaman kekeringan pada fase generatif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pertumbuhan dan produktivitas tanaman padi aksesi T2 dan TR2 dari hasil persilangan tetua Inpago 5 dan Inpara 8 dengan pembanding varietas komersil pada lahan rawa lebak dangkal di Desa Pelabuhan Dalam, Kecamatan Pemulutan, Kabupaten Ogan Ilir, Provinsi Sumatera Selatan. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Mei hingga Agustus 2025 menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan berpengaruh nyata pada parameter jumlah anakan dan berat 100 gabah, serta berpengaruh sangat nyata pada tinggi tanaman 8 MST, umur berbunga, panjang malai, lebar gabah, jumlah gabah per malai, persentase gabah hampa, panjang gabah, dan indeks panen. Aksesi TR2 menunjukkan keunggulan pada tinggi tanaman (118,87cm), panjang malai (34,48 cm), lebar gabah (2,86mm) dan jumlah gabah per malai (169,82). Meskipun memiliki indeks panen lebih rendah, aksesi T2 dan TR2 menunjukkan estimasi produksi yang setara dengan genotipe pembanding mencapai 6,83 dan 7,17ton/ha.
