PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN MATEMATIKA BERBASIS PLATFORM GAME DIGITAL (ROBLOX) DI SMPAL-AZHAR 33 PALEMBANG.
This research is driven by the global perception of mathematics as a challenging subject that frequently induces anxiety among students, particularly at the secondary level. Digital Game-Based Learning (DGBL) has emerged as a proven strategy to significantly enhance student motivation and engagement. Digital platforms such as Roblox offer technological flexibility, allowing educators and students to develop interactive, rich, and collaborative digital environments. This study aims to develop a Roblox-based mathematics learning tool that is engaging, interactive, and aligned with student characteristics. Employing a quantitative descriptive approach, the study evaluates the impact of digital game integration on the instructional process. The findings indicate that the implementation of this game-based media significantly increases students’ interest in learning mathematics. Ultimately, this research concludes that the developed Roblox-based media effectively fosters student interest by making mathematics more enjoyable and accessible.
