PENGEMBANGAN VIDEO ANIMASI PENCEGAHAN PERILAKU BERMASALAH

The problem in this study stemmed from the finding that some students exhibited problematic behaviour. Meanwhile,guidance and counselling services at State Senior High School 7 Prabumulih had not optimally utilised learning media, particularly animated videos, as a means of providing preventive services for problematic behaviour. This condition indicated the need to develop communicative and contextual media so that prevention messages could be received by students more effectively and meaningfully. This study aimed to produce an animated video. The 4D method was applied, consisting of the following stages: Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. The develop stage included one-to-one trials, small group trials (involving five students), and a field test (involving 36 students). Data collection techniques included expert validation to determine product validity and a practicality questionnaire to assess the animated video for preventing problematic behaviour. Expert validation resulted in average scores of 5 for media, 4.8 for language, and 5 for material. Therefore, the animated video for preventing problematic behaviour was categorised as highly valid. The trial results showed a 98% response rate from teachers and an 89.95% response rate from students, indicating that the animated video was highly practical. Thus, the animated video on preventing problematic behaviour was concluded to be highly valid and practical.
