STRATEGI KEPALA DESA DALAM UPAYA MENGOPTIMALKAN PARTISIPASI MASYARAKAT DALAM PEMILU 2024 (STUDI KASUS DI DESA PANCA TUNGGAL KECAMATAN SUNGAI LILIN)

This study discusses the Village Head's Strategy in an Effort to Increase CommunityParticipation in the 2024 Election (Case Study in Panca Tunggal Village, Sungai LilinDistrict). The background of this research is because there are still people in PancaTunggal Village who did not participate in the 2019 election. The reason for the nonparticipation of the Panca Tunggal village community is due to the indifferentcommunity and the existence of invalid ballots (uncounted). The theory in this studyis the theory of strategy by Alfred Chandler which consists of 3 dimensions, namelyLong-Term Formulation and Goals, Action Selection and Resource Allocation. Thetype of rescarch used is descriptive with qualitative research methods. Based on theresults of the research conducted, it was found that there was indeed a strategy usedby the head of Panca Tunggal village in optimizing community participation inelections. The strategy involves effective communication, socialization of theimportance of voting rights, and providing access to information about elections.Judging from the results of the research obtained, it was recommended to the head ofPanca Tunggal village to pay attention to the technical implementation of the strategy,as well as saram in the use of technology in the implementation of the strategy carriedout.
