PERTUMBUHAN DAN HASIL BAYAM BRAZIL (Alternanthera sissoo) PADA PERBEDAAN INTENSITAS PEMANGKASAN AKAR
Brazilian spinach (Alternanthera sissoo) is a leaf vegetable that is not widely known, consumed and cultivated by Indonesian people. In an effort to increase the productivity of Brazilian spinach and meet the food needs of the community, Brazilian spinach plants can be propagated using stem cuttings or terminal cuttings from the parent plants that are set aside. Root pruning is an effort to stimulate the growth of new roots that better support plant growth. This study aims to determine growth and yield of Brazilian spinach on differences in intensity of root pruning. This study used the Randomized Block Design (RBD) method with 4 (four) levels of root pruning consisting of no pruning (TP), horizontal pruning (HP), vertical pruning (VP) and total pruning (FP). Each treatment was repeated 3 times, and each repetition contained 3 plants. So the total number of plants observed was 36 plants. All data obtained will be analyzed using the Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) method. Furthermore, to determine the best treatment, testing was carried out using the Least Significant Difference Test (LSD) at P
