ANALISIS KONFIGURASI BIPLOT ELEMEN-ELEMEN CUACA MENGGUNAKAN ANALISIS PROCRUSTES DI PAGAR ALAM TAHUN 2020-2022
Changes in weather elements can affect various sectors such as agriculture, economy, tourism, and disaster mitigation, especially in tropical regions such as Pagar Alam Municipality. This study aims to analyze weather elements in Pagar Alam in 2020, 2021, and 2022 using biplot analysis and comparing biplot configurations using Procrustes analysis. Weather elements include Tmax (Maximum temperature), Tmin (Minimum temperature), Temp (Temperature), Dew (Dew point), Hum (Humidity), Precip (Precipitation), PCover (Precipitation cover), WGust (Wind gust), WSpeed (Wind speed), WDir (Wind direction), SeaPress (Sea level pressure), CCover (Cloud cover), SolRad (Solar radiation), UVI (Ultraviolet index), and MooPhase (Moonphase) as variables and 53 weekly weather data as research objects. The biplot configuration between years was compared by Procrustes analysis through translation, rotation, and dilation processes. The largest contribution to PC1 from the biplot results in 2020 was given by the UVI and SolRad variables, while in 2021 and 2022 it was given by Hum and PCover. The largest contribution to PC2 from the biplot results in 2020, 2021, and 2022 was given by WGust and WSpeed. A comparison of the biplot configurations between 2020 and 2021 resulted in a similarity measure of 93.113%. A comparison of the biplot configurations between 2020 and 2022 resulted in a similarity measure of 86.989%. These results indicated that the weather elements in Pagar Alam were very similar or tended not to change. Keywords: Weather Elements, Pagar Alam, Biplot Analysis, Procrustes Analysis
