PEMETAAN AKTOR DAN KOALISI WACANA MENGENAI PT TIMAH TBK DALAM KASUS VIDEO VIRAL 'HORORER' BERBASIS DISCOURSE NETWORK ANALYSIS

PT Timah Tbk became a public spotlight following a viral parody 'horror' video on TikTok, which triggered the involvement of various actors in forming diverse discourses. This study aims to map human and non-human actors that shape the discourse and network, and to identify discourse coalitions in media coverage. Data were obtained from 97 news reports from 28 local and national online media outlets, analyzed using Discourse Network Analysis (DNA) with a mixed-methods approach. The research employed Actor-Network Theory (ANT) to map actors, while the Discourse Coalition Framework (DCF) was used to identify discourse coalitions. Findings identified 17 human and 12 non-human actors interconnected within the network. This interconnectedness formed six interaction clusters, demonstrating that discourse was produced through relations between actors and the digital platform. The study also revealed 13 identified discourse groups with three primary discourse coalitions. These coalitions carried the main storylines: 'The case is a personal matter unrelated to PT Timah', 'PT Timah acts professionally and ethics are enforced', and 'PT Timah takes firm action regarding the case'. Additionally, 10 individual discourse groups presented diverse storylines, including recruitment issues, compliance with SOE regulations, and the #BongkarKorupsiTimah discourse.
