KUNCORO ESTU MUSTAKIM. Performance Test Of Soil Cultivation Using a Plow With Multiple Plowshares And Different Plowing Depths (Supervised by Ir. R. Mursidi, M. Si.). This study was conducted to assess the performance of singkal plows on ultisol soil with variations in the number of plows and processing depth. This research was conducted from May to September 2025 at the Laboratory of Machinery, Soil and Water Engineering of the Agricultural Engineering Study Program, The parameters analyzed included wheel slip, travel time, pulling force, fuel consumption, effective field capacity, work efficiency, and soil reversal width. The results of the study indicate that plowing operations with one plowshare condition will be able to reduce the pulling force/power, wheel slip, fuel requirements and travel time, however the opposite occurs if plowing is done with 2 plowshares at each plowshare width and the same plowing working width. Plowing at a depth of 15 cm can produce lower pulling force/power, wheel slip, fuel requirements and travel time compared to a plowing depth of 20 cm. The use of one plowshare at a depth of 15 cm (J1D1) provides the highest efficiency and effective field capacity due to lower pulling force, wheel slip, travel time and fuel requirements compared to other combinations. Plowing with 2 plowshares produces a larger turning width than plowing with 1 plowshare, this is influenced by the forward/pull speed of the hand tractor
