DISCOURSE NETWORK ANALYSIS PEMBERITAAN PORTAL MEDIA BERITA DI INDONESIA TENTANG PROGRAM MAKAN BERGIZI GRATIS (MBG)
The Free Nutritional Meals (MBG) program is a government policy agenda that has sparked various public discourses, both supportive and critical. This study aims to analyze how discourse regarding the Free Nutritional Meals (MBG) program is shaped and negotiated through national online media coverage. Using a discourse network analysis (DNA) method, this study processed 162 news stories from Kompas.com and Detik.com through an inductive coding process to identify actors, concepts, and affiliation relationships within the discourse network using DNA analyzer software. The results indicate the involvement of 110 actors, consisting of the government, community organizations, religious institutions, academics, and business actors. The concept network shows that the concept of support is more dominant and central in the discourse of the Free Nutritional Meals (MBG) program, and the affiliation network indicates that the government is the central group connecting various discourses. Future research can expand data sources and analysis to obtain and add to a more comprehensive discourse mapping.
