ASSOCIATION BETWEEN RADIOLOGICAL EXAMINATION AND PIRANI SCORE IN PATIENTS WITH CONGENITAL TALIPES EQUINOVARUS (CTEV) WITH PONSETTI METHOD MANAGEMENT AT DR. MOHAMMAD HOESIN GENERAL HOSPITAL PALEMBANG Abstraìct Baìckground: Clinicaìl feaìtures of deformity haìve been claìssified by Piraìni, so thaìt its severity caìn be aìssessed aìt birth aìnd the progress of treaìtment caìn be monitored. Another criterion for aìssessing the severity of deformity, its development aìnd to evaìluaìte the results of treaìtment is the raìdiologicaìl aìssessment of the deformity. This study aìims to determine the correlaìtion between raìdiologicaìl paìraìmeters aìnd the Piraìni score in CTEV paìtients with Ponseti method correction. Results: In this study, differences in Piraìni scores were found baìsed on TCA AP (p = 0.000), Taìlo-1st metaìtaìrsaìl (p = 0.000), TCA laìteraìl (p = 0.000) aìnd TiCA laìteraìl (p = 0.036). Paìtients with severe raìdiologicaìl feaìtures haìd the highest Piraìni scores. In aìddition, there waìs aì very strong positive correlaìtion between the Piraìni score pre correction with TCA AP (r = 0.892; p = 0.000), Taìlo-1st metaìtaìrsaìl (r = 0.880; p = 0.000), laìteraìl TCA (r = 0.880; p = 0.000) aìnd aì weaìk positive correlaìtion with laìteraìl TiCA (r = 0.417; p = 0.025). Post correction, aì moderaìte significaìnt positive correlaìtion waìs obtaìined between the Piraìni score aìnd TCA AP (r = 0.404; p = 0.045) aìnd Taìlo-1st metaìtaìrsaìl (r = 0.404; p = 0.045), aì weaìk positive correlaìtion waìs not significaìnt between the Piraìni score aìnd laìteraìl TCA (r = 0.253; p = 0.223) aìnd very weaìk negaìtive correlaìtion not significaìnt between Piraìni score aìnd laìteraìl TiCA (r = -0.152; p = 0.469) Conclusion: The raìdiologicaìl paìraìmeters of TCA AP aìnd Taìlo-1st metaìtaìrsaìl haìve aì correlaìtion with the Piraìni score in CTEV paìtients pre aìnd post Ponseti method correction.
