PENGARUH EKSPOSUR KONTEN VIRAL TIKTOK TERHADAP IMITASI SIMBOL, GAYA KOMUNIKASI, DAN EKSPRESI IDENTITAS FANS ONE PIECE KOMUNITAS NAKAMA PALEMBANG

Social media such as TikTok is now a social learning space that encourages users to imitate viral trends that are developing in society. This study aims to analyze the influence of TikTok viral content exposure on symbol imitation, communication style, and identity expression in the Nakama Palembang community.The research method used a quantitative approach with one independent variable, namely TikTok viral content exposure, and three dependent variables, namely symbol imitation, communication style, and identity expression. The population of this study is active TikTok users who are also members of the Nakama Palembang community. The research sample amounted to 88 respondents who were selected using saturated sampling techniques. Data was collected through a questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability, then analyzed using simple linear regression through the IBM SPSS 22 program.The results showed that exposure to TikTok viral content had a positive and significant effect on symbol imitation (64.3%), communication style (51%), and identity expression (65.3%). In conclusion, exposure to TikTok viral content plays a role in shaping social behavior and user identity through the process of observation, imitation, and social reinforcement.
