This research aims to determine the effect of using educational media (organic and inorganic trash cans) on the formation of the character of loving the environment in children aged 5-6 years at Arimbi Kindergarten, Palembang. The research method used was pre-experimental with a one shot case study design. The sample in this study was class B1 consisting of 9 boys and 7 girls who were selected using purposive sampling techniques. The data collection techniques used are observation and documentation. The data obtained were analyzed using the one sample t test. This can be seen from the results of the T-test calculations obtained which show that 5.01 ≥ 1.75 means Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. This means that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. So it can be concluded that there is an influence of the use of educational media (organic and inorganic trash cans) on the formation of the character of loving the environment in children aged 5-6 years at Arimbi Kindergarten, Palembang.
