EFEKTIFITAS KOLONISASI JAMUR ENTOMOPATOGEN, ASAL LARVA LEPIDOPTERA, MELALUI PERLAKUAN BENIH PAKCOI TERHADAP LARVA ULAT GERAYAK, Spodoptera litura(Lepidoptera: Noctuidae)
Spodoptera litura is a plant pest that eats all parts of the plant, especially mustard greens, and is very dangerous to farmers. The purpose of this study is to determine the impact of fungal colonization on pak choi seeds by seed treatment on S. litura mortality. This research uses a Randomized Block Design (RBD) method with 20 mushroom treatments and 1 sterile water control, consisting of and 3 replications. The entomopathogenic fungi used in this study consisted of 4 isolate fungi is : B. bassiana, M. anisopliae P. citrinum, and T. diversus. Entomopathogenic endophytic fungi can cause larval mortality, which occurs 5 days after treatment and has a death rate of 8% for the fungal isolate JGTS240521 of the species B. bassiana. Additionally, JGTP240521B has a high mortality rate of 36% on the 11 day of observation. Dead larvae shrivel and dry up, and their color changes to blackish. The additional abnormal characteristics observed include slower mobility and reduced hunger in the larvae. This research concludes that some entomopathogenic fungal isolates influence the mortality of S. litura larvae.
