PENGARUH LINGKUNGAN KERJA DAN ORGANIZATIONAL CITIZENSHIP BEHAVIOR (OCB) TERHADAP KINERJA PEGAWAI DI DINAS KOMUNIKASI DAN INFORMATIKA PROVINSI KEPULAUAN BANGKA BELITUNG

This study aims to analyze the influence of Work Environment and Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) on Employee Performance at the Communication and Information Service of Bangka Belitung Islands Province. The research population consisted of 52 employees, and all of them were sampled through the saturated sample method so that the data obtained could represent the overall condition of the organization. The approach used is quantitative with a descriptive method, including the distribution of questionnaires, field observations, and interviews to obtain a complete picture of the conditions of the work environment and employee behavior. Data analysis was carried out using multiple linear regression, partial test (t-test), and simultaneous test (F-test) to assess the influence of each variable on Employee Performance. The results of the study revealed several problems in the work environment, including uncomfortable room temperature, high noise levels, and uneven cleanliness and neatness, which have an impact on employee comfort and work concentration. In addition, OCB behaviors, which include a mutually helpful attitude, loyalty, and cooperation, have not been evenly distributed across units, with some employees being less proactive as workloads increase. Statistical analysis shows that the Work Environment and OCB have a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance, respectively. Simultaneously, both variables contribute significantly to performance improvement. These findings are in line with the Key Performance Indicators and the Community Satisfaction Index, where although the target is achieved, the quality of service has not been fully optimal. The research emphasizes the importance of improving the quality of the work environment, both physical and non-physical, as well as strengthening OCB behavior so that employee performance can reach an optimal level, with special attention to cleanliness, comfort, and internal communication.
